English Language Learners

An English Language Learner, or ELL, is a student who receives extra support learning English in school. The program assists students whose primary home language is not English. Our ELL program gives these students supports they need to develop and improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Through these supports English language learners gain confidence to take risks in the classroom, the school and in our community.
