Mrs. Bauer

Hello!

I am Mrs. Bauer!  All my life I have enjoyed growing things:  flowers, vegetables, and especially students! I beieve in providing a safe and welcoming environment in which all students feel respected, valued, and challenged to be their best!  I started my teaching career in Farmington, New Mexico in in 1993! I took four years off to stay home with my girls, then came to Bayfield in 2005!  This is my 27th year of teaching!  I taught 5^th grade for 10 years, 3^rd grade for 2 years, and this is my 15th year teaching 1^st grade!  I love reading, learning, and spending my days either outside or with kids of all ages! I enjoy taking care of five flowerbeds, two gardens, a huge yard, and a lot of trees with our dog and six quirky chickens by my side!  We also have two beautiful horses.  My family consists of my husband, Mark, two wonderful daughters Emily and Rachel, and our dog Maci who loves to play tetherball!
