STEM

Hello there! My name is Patrick Maharrey and I teach STEM at Bayfield Primary School. STEM is a class that incorporates many subject areas, as it stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In STEM, your child will explore their grade-level specific essential science standards. We also explore several growing fields including architectural design and construction, electrical engineering, robotics, and computer coding. 

 

Our STEM curriculum is based upon the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards and the Colorado State Academic Standards for Science.
